The composition has approximately<strong> 16 to 25% of chromium and 8 to 20% of nickel<\/strong>. In addition, they cannot be hardened by heat treatment as the stable austenitic structure is independent from the temperature at which it is treated.  <\/p>\n<p>Austenitic steel is one of the <strong>main and most frequently used types of stainless steels<\/strong> in industry. Thanks to its <strong>high resistance<\/strong>, usually higher than those of ferritic and martensitic steels. Resistance is not its sole benefit: austenitic steels also offer easy machining, a wide range of temperatures, and a variety of mechanical properties. <\/p>\n<p>This type of structures are not magnetic, and thanks to their components are <strong>suitable for a high level of conformability<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"title\"><span>Industries and Parts where Austenitic Steel is of note:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Castinox is a stainless steel and special alloy company.
